THEATRE companies from across the globe are coming thousands of miles to appear at Henley Fringe.
NATE (North Atlantic Theatre Ensemble) is a young and up-and-coming theatre company from the States, dedicated to presenting rare and edgy American plays to Britain.
They initially formed as a group of actors, writers and directors who all had the core idea of wanting to stage some raw, hard-hitting plays, from classic to new American writers that rarely get performed in the UK.
They are a team of both U.S and U.K artists working together to create groundbreaking theatre.
Val Jobara, Jason Wing and Joseph Roi provide two plays for the price of one at the Henley Fringe.

Sticks And Stones features a cop who finds himself in deep water in the office of a Jewish lawyer in downtown Los Angeles. The cop faces the prospect of not only losing his job but his life. The lawyer is faced with a choice that could make or break him.
A battle of words ensues where you the audience become the ultimate judge and jury.
NATE is performing at the Hotel du Vin in New Street, Henley from Wednesday, July 22 to Saturday, July 25 from 2pm to 3.30pm and 9pm to 10.30pm.
And a pair have come all the way from South Africa to perform Portrait of Andrew Babeille, telling the story of the man who found himself in conflict
with his inner self as well as the world after stabbing a white student wity a pair of scissors.
The play tells the true life story, examines his exploitation by political leaders and reveals what happened to him after the media frenzy.
Portrait of Andrew Babeille can be seen at the rugby club in Dry Leas from July 20 to 25 at 2pm.
A one-act play on life, love and internet dating is featuring at The Henley Fringe Festival this year.
Rosalind Adler, has been an actress for 25 years and has written and stars in LOL which premiered at the Soho Theatre in March.
LOL depicts the lives of three apparently unconnected women and portrays the fast-expanding phenomenon that is internet dating in this decade.
She won two Gold Standard awards at the Henley Festival last year for production and performance.

Now in its second year, Henley Fringe organisers listened to comments following last year’s festival and have made this year even better.

ART in Action, in Oxfordshire this weekend, is a feast for the soul and the senses.
One of the longest-running art and craft festivals in the UK, it brings together hundreds of artists, offering a rare opportunity for visitors to see the creative process first hand.
As well as art demonstrations, there will be music, dance and drama, workshops and classes, plenty of refreshments and the chance to purchase some of what you see in the making in the market marquee including jewjellery, ceramics, woodwork and glass.
Running until Sunday at Waterperry Gardens, Waterperry, Oxfordshire, the event is open between 10am and 5.30pm every day.
