Rip-rawring through a blistering set that left everyone scheming for air, the Automatic are back with their new album Tear Down The Signs and boy, they have picked up were they left off.
Long ago was the summer of the Monster and the tune that came with it that tattooed many-a-mind during the summer of ’06 that they have had to work hard to avoid becoming the dreaded one-hit-wonder-woos that has swallowed many into the darkest chasms of music hell. Whizzing through a set list and still finding a spare second to congratulate support act Servo, who in their own right delivered an accomplished jaunt, affianced an audience who had buy now grown themselves sweat patches the sizes of crop circles.
Ending with ‘Recover’ and the inevitable ’Monster’, the Automatic have prepared, polished and purified their six-strings and are back with some incredible new material. The boys could just well be about to tattoo you again.
